The wireless helmet brake light is a water repellent auxiliary brake light system designed to dramatically increase your visibility to other road users.
The system includes 2 parts:
1) An ultra bright 6 LED strip that can be attached to the back of a motorcycle helmet (or top box, fender or anywhere else). This is the wireless receiver.

2) An 1157 LED bulb with built-in radio transmitter

NB: The majority of motorcycles have an 1157 designation tail light bulb. However, some GS models have a sealed brake light which cannot be opened to replace the bulb.
Please make sure your motorcycle has an 1157 bulb before ordering.
How it works:
The transmitter is an 1157 LED array with 12 ultra bright LED's. 6 are point straight up and 6 point outwards to help bounce the light off the bike's reflector. Three LED's from each orientation light up as running lights and the other pair of three light up when the brakes are applied. The overall effect of this arrangment is that the 12 LED bulb is not only considerably brighter than a standard 1157 filament bulb but will also last longer (LED's don't have filaments to blow) while consuming a fraction of the power.
With the wireless helmet brake lights installed, activating the bike's brakes will automatically cause the ultra bright 6 LED receiver strip to first illuminate for about 5 seconds. They will then start to flash (as long as the brakes are applied ) at the rate of about 85-95 flashes per minute.
The wireless helmet brake lights also have an hazard/warning flash mode. Simply press the hazard button to activate a continuous flashing mode. This is particulary useful when riding in fog or poor visibility conditions or when stuck on the side of the road undertaking repairs.
- Clean the surface where you will be placing the LED receiver strip with alcohol rub
- Peel the backing tape and apply the LED receiver strip to the helmet or chosen surface (e.g. top box)
- Remove the existing 1157 filament bulb and replace with the 1157 LED bulb with built in radio transmitter
- Fit the 4x CR2032 batteries in the battery boxes

- Wireless LED Brake Light Receiver with 6 Ultra Bright LED's
- Transmitter: Plug in type for 1157 or 3157 with 12 Ultra Bright LED's
- 6 month battery life when brakes are applied 50 times per day
